Akrosia Samson (Leila)
Akrosia Samson was born in Ethiopia and moved to the U.S.
speaking only the Ethiopian language and French. Upon graduating
from high school, she enrolled at Northern Virginia Community
College where she participated in theatre programs extensively.
Akrosia has studied acting under the renowned Howard Fine, the
great Uta Hagen, and the famous Groundlings among others.
Akrosia starred in
A
Private Affair opposite Vanessa Bell Calloway, co-starred with
Jerry O’Connell on Sliders, and was featured on The Cherokee Kid
with Sinbad and James Coburn. She has also starred in various
independent films.

SINBAD (UNCLE TONY)
Born
in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Sinbad grew up telling jokes to his
three brothers and two sisters. He was the wild child, an
unpredictable force that couldn’t be harnessed. Sinbad made his
big screen debut in the 1991 gridiron comedy Necessary
Roughness. His other motion picture credits include a
Houseguest, Jingle All the Way, Coneheads and
Homeward Bound II. On television, he starred in the title
role of The Cherokee Kid on HBO; was star and executive
producer of his own acclaimed Fox TV sitcom, The Sinbad Show
and Sinbad’s Summer Jam Weekend IV airing on HBO.
Sinbad’s Summer Jam won the prestigious NAACP Image award
consecutively for two years in the "Most Outstanding Variety
Series/Special" category. Sinbad hosted Vibe from
1997-1998.
A recipient of Harvard University’s 1997 "Artist of the Year"
award and the 1994 "Candle" award from Morehouse College, Sinbad
has built a loyal following with sold-out comedy shows and has
gone from being one of America’s best-loved and funniest
comedians to national stardom on television and movies.

CARLOS GOMEZ (ATTACKER)
Starting
in 1989 with a guest-starring part in an episode of
China
Beach,
Carlos has established an impressive career in both television
and feature films. On the small screen, Carlos has appeared on
Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, The Sentinel, NYPD
Blue, and Judging Amy, in addition to recurring guest
spots on ER, Family Law and Charmed.
On the big screen, Carlos is fondly remembered for his role as
Salma Hayek’s brother Chuy in the romantic comedy Fools Rush
In. He has also appeared in The Mambo Kings, The
Peacemaker, Enemy Of The State, Desperado,
The Replacement Killers – and most recently, House Of
Sand And Fog.
