NOELLE
M. PFLUM (PRODUCER)
Noelle
Pflum is making her debut as a producer with Six
and the City. She
is also currently the assistant to Callie Khouri, a
Writer/Director (Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Thelma and Louise, Something to
Talk About).
Previously
she enjoyed working as an assistant to such producers as Meg
LeFauve, whom she worked with on Dangerous
Lives of Altar Boys and Bonnie Bruckheimer, whom she worked
with on Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. Between those two films she gained experience working as an
office assistant on The
Runaway, Amy and Isabelle, and Domestic
Disturbance.
Raised
in Southern New Jersey, Noelle graduated from James Madison
University with a degree in Media Arts and Design.
She began her post-college career as a video photographer
for for WECT-TV6, the NBC affiliate in Wilmington, North
Carolina before jumping into feature films.
FRED
CHENG (WRITER)
Though
born in Van Nuys, making him that rarest of creatures, an L.A.
native, Fred Cheng grew up in Minneapolis and proudly calls
himself a Minnesotan. He
has twice won grants sponsored by the Minnesota Film Board and
IFP/North. A
graduate of Yale College and USC's Graduate Screenwriting
Program (where he wrote the award-winning short film Mr.
October), Fred has worked for the past decade as a freelance
story analyst, consulting on such projects as Apollo
13, Liar Liar, The Nutty Professor and A
Beautiful Mind. He
is currently working on a true-crime story set in the Twin
Cities. His most important work, however, is being a husband to wife
Shannon and father to twins Jack and Maggie.
Andrew
parke (director of photography)
As
a child growing up in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Andrew Parke
spent countless hours in his father's darkroom watching black
& white prints develop.
This sparked a passion that led to numerous
“inspired” Super 8mm films and later a degree in Film
Production from Pennsylvania State University.
After a stint at Birns & Sawyer, Andrew ventured into
freelance production. In
the years since, Andrew has worked on a wide and interesting
variety of theatrical, documentary, television, music video,
commercial, and independent projects.
His films include Iowa,
The Last Patient, Truth and Dare, LA DJ, The Woman Chaser, All
American Cowboy, The Thundering 8th, Grizzly Mountain, Center of
the Web, Raw Nerve, Born Killer, Future Force, The Final
Sanction, That’s Action, Invasion Force, and
Operation Warzone.
ERIC
O. SCHUSTERMAN (EDITOR)
With
vast experience as an Assistant Editor, Eric
Schusterman has worked on several successful films, his
most recent being Mayor of the Sunset Strip, a rock documentary directed by George
Hickenlooper about the infamous KROQ DJ Rodney Bingenheimer.
Eric has worked on a number of popular films including, Dances
With Wolves, Last Of
The Mohicans, This Boys Life,
Coneheads, Nell, Life
and Bedazzled. Now a veteran editor, Eric has worked a full range of
film genres and has had the fortune to work with a myriad of
influential directors, such as Kevin Costner, Michael Mann, Ted
Demme, Harold Ramis and most recently with director Curtis
Hanson, as assistant editor on the highly acclaimed film 8
Mile, starring Eminem.
Originally
from Chicago, Eric spent his childhood growing up in various
cities including New Orleans and Louisville, Kentucky. He
graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BA in Theater
and went on to receive an MFA in Acting at the University of
Southern California.
BRIAN
KIRK (MUSIC AND SCORE)
Brian
began his formal musical training at Willamette University in
Salem, Oregon where he wrote arrangements for the University
Jazz Big Band and original pieces for a local string quartet.
Since moving to Los Angeles in 1996, Brian has composed music
for many film and television projects. His credits include Lucky
(FX Network), When Billie Beat Bobby (ABC television movie), Andy Richter Controls the Universe (FOX) and Labor Pains (Fox feature film).
Brian has also contributed music to the following
projects: Normal
(HBO), The Baby Dance (Showtime), JAG
(CBS), Malcolm in the
Middle (FOX), Eloise
at the Plaza (ABC television movie), The
Pentagon Papers (FX television movie), Judging
Amy (CBS), Felicity
(WB). His current projects include NCIS,
a new drama series on CBS, and The
Journey Home, a documentary for PBS.
JENNIFER
JOHNSTON (COSTUME DESIGNER)
JENNIFER
JOHNSTON graduated from the University of Missouri with a major
in Textile and Apparel Management.
She moved to Los Angeles one year ago from New York where
she worked in men's fashion and designed costumes for Turner
Dance Company. Six
and the City is Jennifer’s first narrative project.
She currently works at Root Troop, a Venice-based
clothing company, as a sales/production manager.
LISA
YU (PRODUCTION DESIGNER)
Lisa
Yu
graduated from Long Beach State University with a degree in
Studio Art. Six
and the
City marks her
debut as a production designer for a narrative film.
