Kim Surowicz (Producer)

Kim Surowicz, an NYU alumni, produced several short films since graduating in 1995.  She has spent most of her career at Universal Studios, where she is currently working in Physical Production.  Other ventures include a year at The Shooting Gallery in 1999 whose feature You Can Count On Me won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.

 

Danièle Neuharth (Co-Producer)

Danièle Neuharth is the Sponsorship & Marketing Director at AFI FEST: the AFI Los Angeles International Film Festival. She also sits on the board of a number of charitable organizations, including Silver Lining Silver Lake and The Trevor Project. Neuharth formerly worked at the Sundance Institute, Independent Spirit Awards and Los Angeles Film Festival in Sponsorship and Development and holds a M.A. from the Annenberg School of Communication Management.


Matthew Jensen (Director of Photography)

Matthew Jensen is a veteran of dozens of short films, including:  Mad Boy, I'll Blow your Blues Away, Eyeball Eddie, and Morning Breath.  His feature credits include the screwball farce, Man of the Century (1999 Audience Award winner at Slamdance), and the Spanish language crime melodrama, Ratas, Ratones, Rateros (2000 Goya nomination for Best Picture).  His work also includes the artful title sequence from the recent release Dinner Rush.

 

Ian Kornbluth (Editor)

A 1999 film studies graduate of Wesleyan University, Ian Kornbluth has rapidly compiled a diverse array of credits during his short time in Hollywood.  He served as first assistant editor on the digital feature Ocean Park, for which he also cut the trailer.  Kornbluth has worked as editor on everything from music videos to segments for live shows.  Most recently, he served as apprentice editor on the Kevin Smith feature Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back for Dimension Films.  Currently Kornbluth is an editor for Late Night with Craig Kilborn and freelance editor for Dow-Hughes Entertainment.

 

Daniel Ferszt (Composer)

Composer Daniel Ferszt brings a full range of musical talents to The Wedding Dress, with studio mixing and mastering credits in addition to his work composing and performing music.  Ferszt has worked in various capacities on nearly a half dozen albums, including China Black’s A Little On The Strange Side and Velvet Jones’ Out Of The Water.  He also has a studio background recording, mixing and mastering more than a dozen demo recordings.  Recently, Ferszt has expanded his career to include film, television and radio.  In addition to his studio skills, Ferszt has applied his composing and performing talents to Rajeev Nirmalakhandan’s short film 125, and is currently embarking upon the sitcom pilot Schmucks.

 

Randi Chugerman (Casting Director)

Randi Chugerman was a casting director on the independent feature Liquid Conference before casting The Wedding Dress.  Her experience is extensive, having worked as Casting Associate for several high profile producers in television and features, including Jon Avnet (NBC’s Uprising), Alan Parker & Nicolas Cage (Universal Pictures’ The Life of David Gale) and Joel Silver (Warner Bros.’ Exit Wounds).
